2. Description of Service
PaperBank is an AI-powered document management platform that allows users to:
- Upload and store documents securely in the cloud
- Automatically categorize and tag documents using artificial intelligence
- Search documents using natural language queries
- Organize and manage personal and professional documents
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
To use our services, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or other provided authentication methods. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
3.2 Account Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for all activities under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- You must be at least 13 years old to use our services
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to:
- Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
- Distribute malware or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the service for any fraudulent purpose

5. Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the documents and content you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services.

All software, design, text, and other materials provided by PaperBank are protected by intellectual property laws and remain our exclusive property.
6. AI Processing
By using our services, you consent to our AI systems processing your documents to:
- Extract text and metadata
- Generate categories and tags
- Enable search functionality
- Provide document summaries and insights
AI processing is performed securely, and your document content is not used to train our AI models or shared with third parties.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may:
- Perform maintenance that temporarily affects service
- Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
- Impose usage limits to ensure fair access for all users
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your documents will be deleted within 30 days.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PaperBank shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of our services.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
